Fiddletown is a small, historic community located in Amador County, California. It is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and has a rich history dating back to the Gold Rush era. The town was established in 1849 and became a hub for gold miners, particularly those of Chinese descent, many of whom settled in the area during the boom. Fiddletown's population was 279 at the 2020 census.
